Chris – set up the Community Centre as an alternative to established gay scene.. friendly atmosphere.. mixture of people.. supportive atmosphere.. gay people face a lot of pressures – family, workmates..

Chris – Gay Pride Week has been quieter this year.. most of the activity has been directed within the community.. International Gay Solidarity Day .. we sent the leaders of the political parties a green carnation (Oscar Wilde reference).. Gay rights..

Chris – Friday was Blue Jeans Day .. anyone wearing blue jeans will be supporting Gay Rights.. it can suddenly make people realise that they are being questioned about their sexuality..
