Access to the Collections

Access for researchers to the LAGANZ Collections is currently being provided from two temporary locations.

The LAGANZ manuscripts collection is available from the Archives New Zealand building located at 10 Mulgrave St, Wellington. See what's available using the list of the Manuscripts (MS) collection. Viewing of this collection is by appointment with a curator listed above.

LAGANZ's collection of published materials is mostly not available. Some of the publications we hold are also included in the National Library's General Collection which is available at its new reading room located at 77 Thorndon Quay, Wellington.

The National Library's collections include many lesbian and gay publications including books, magazines and journals and you can search the catalogue at National Library Catalogue. These can be read upon request at 77 Thorndon Quay.

Contact a curator to discuss your research query.
